Two-part project exploring the boundaries between real and synthetic faces.On one side: the creation of a MetaHuman based on a 3D scan of my own face, rendered with path tracing in Unreal Engine 5.4, then enhanced using Krea.ai, Magnific, and photomontage techniques. -- Updated with UE 5.6 and no IA retouchesOn the other: an experimental workflow using AI-generated faces (via MidJourney), reconstructed in Blender with FaceBuilder (Keentools), and integrated into the same post-production pipeline.This comparative study bridges real-world data and artificial input to challenge the visual limits of human realism in digital technologies.
